In this photo Cassie Whiteman is applying ointment on cuts sustained to her horse Buster while he was attempting to escape from a new enclosure. By working in her SAE Cassie learned how to treat horses for minor abrasions or lacerations. This skill will later help her in her future career related to the equine health care industry as Cassie has a deep desire to become a veterinarian.

HyperLink We can tell spring is in the air because it's Ag Day time! Wednesday, April 10th is our annual Ag Day and all the plans have been made to make this another successful year. We have approximately 25 students involved by being student presenters or tour guides and we are looking forward to making this a memorable event for area 4th graders! I'm not sure if you've noticed, but our chapter has a LOT going on. Make sure your son/daughter is actively involved and not missing out on any of these excellent opportunities to get connected through FFA activities. Have a great weekend!
